Amrita University 2015 Exam, Date, Hall Ticket

Amrita University will conduct the AEEE 2015 to provide admissions to candidates in various engineering undergraduate courses, in session 2015-16. The University has three campuses, located at: Coimbatore, Bengaluru, and Amritapuri. Through the exam, candidates will be allocated admission in one of these. Amrita University 2015 entrance exam will be held in Computer Based and Pen and Paper mode. The online exam will be held from 16 to 18 April 2015. Whereas, offline paper is due on 25 April 2015 (forenoon session only).

To write the exam, candidates need to apply. Forms are available now and candidates may apply online, till 10 April 2015, for online exam. However, candidates who wish to write the exam in offline mode may avail/ purchase OMR applications till 6 April 2015. Last date to submit OMR application is also 10 April 2015. Candidates who have registered, may download the admit card by submitting application number and date of birth. More information about the exam is given below.

Amrita University 2015 Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate must be born on or after July 1992.
• He must have passed class XII or equivalent with an aggregate of 55% in Physics and 60% in Chemistry and Mathematics separately.
• He must also have an aggregate score of 60% in Physics, Math and Chemistry.
• If a candidate has minimum aggregate of 60% in three year engineering diploma from any state board of technical education, he can apply as well.

AEEE 2015 Exam Pattern

• Duration of the exam – 3 hours.
• Total number of questions – 120.
• Total marks in exam – 360 (50 question from Mathematics,35 question from Physics, 35 question from Chemistry).
• For each correct answer, +3 marks.
• For each wrong answer, -1 mark.

Amrita University 2015 Application Form

On satisfying the aforementioned terms and conditions, candidate can proceed to fill the Application Form of Amrita University. Candidate can fill the form either in online mode or offline mode till 25 March 2015. However, last date attain OMR application form is 23 March 2015. Candidates are suggested to submit the form with correct and complete information and thereafter take a printout of the same for further purpose.

To complete the application form process, candidates are required to put a DD of Rs.1000 as non-refundable application form fee to the below address. Candidates are suggested to take a copy of application form and DD, both to present in future. It is a proof of application and payment of fees.

Amrita University 2015 Admit Card

AEEE 2015 admit card was released on 26 March 2015. Candidates may download it by submitting application number and date of birth. Since, application number is required to acquire it, only registered candidates will be able to download it.

Candidates must carry the hall ticket, on the day of the exam. Without it, permission to enter exam hall will not be granted. Also, candidate must ensure that all the information in it should be correct. If any error is found, the University should be informed about it. We will suggest that candidates preserve it safely, even after the exam. As it will be required to check result and apply for counselling.

Amrita University 2015 Result and Counselling

If a candidates is selected in the merit list based on his marks in the examination, he would be called for Amrita University Counselling process. Counselling will take place in the month of June 2015. To attend counselling, candidates are required to bring along all the necessary documents and certificates with their photocopies. To confirm the seat, you are required to pay Rs.50000 as a part of tuition fee in form of demand draft.
